I wanted to take some mostly-natural light, wide-angle photos down deep, so I set my camera and lens for the most sensitive settings (ISO 1600, f2.8, 1/30 sec.) and hoped for enough light. It turned out to be a decent day; sunny with better-than-bad visibility (around 50 feet).  The white balance in the camera tended to do some weird things (notice the bright purple HID light). Many of the photos from the shallows didn't look "green" enough to be local. I guess they are what Saanich Inlet would look like in the tropics. Since the wall is pretty bare, it helps when there is a diver with an HID and rebreather (Al) to liven up the pictures.
