After a shallow, current-free dive with the sealions at Great Race Rock (Oct. 16, 2010), we motored over to West Race Rock for a slack dive on the wall. We saw humpbacks before the previous dive and while waiting for the current to die down for this dive,  we caught a glimpse of  2 transient orcas. Visibility was still about 40 feet. As if the carpet of colour wasn't enough, a sealion street gang joined us for the dive. Even 100 feet deep, they were constantly cruising back and forth in a pack.
