I haven't been here in a few years so I launched at Cheanuh Marina in Becher Bay and went out to the island (June 29, 2009). Across the narrow channel from Swordfish Island, there's a somewhat-sheltered cove where I anchored the boat and swam out to the tunnel. I remember seeing a few soft corals here and there last time, but now half the tunnel seems to be covered with them. I managed to tear myself away from the cavern and I swam down the slope on the outside. Visibility was around 30-40 feet. I hung around the tip of the island and there seems to be more life down here than last time too. Anyway, this is one dive where it's better to let the pictures do the talking.
