This is the same Sandy Cove dive site that I went to last time I was in Halifax. I tried it again this time as a second dive of the day,  hoping for better visibility than that at nearby Tennant Point. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good here either (around 10 feet). It was low tide and I had to swim out for quite a way to get below 10 feet deep. The pictures were all taken at 9 feet deep. I finally made it out to a depth of 20 feet, but the visibility was around 3 feet here so I went back up to snorkeling depths. During other times of the year, there are quite a few fish and lobsters to look at, but in winter it's all vacant and there's not much to see except for sand, rock and seaweed. There were still quite a few little hermit crabs though.
