I had assumed that since the development of the resort at Possession Point has started, it wouldn't be possible to dive here from shore anymore. I heard of someone diving here recently though, so I drove out to see what access was like (Jan. 26, 2014). It turns out that all that has been built is one of the display units. I assume the rest of the lots are still waiting for buyers before the rest of the construction starts. So I ended up having a very nice dive. It was a sunny day and visibility was around 30 feet. I spent most of the dive in the gap between the shore and the islet. A sealion swooped past me in the canyon, but as usual I wasn't quick enough for a photo.
