After having a quick glimpse of a separate wall farther out from the point, I came back on July 30, 2017 to spend most of a dive on it. Visibility was great from the surface all the way down past 100' deep. I swam down the rocky slope near the point and then swam North across a gravel slope about 80' deep towards the farther wall. I did 2 dives here today and some of these pictures are screen-grabs from the video I took on the second dive.
I saw the farther wall I was looking for in the distance. Depths ranged from 80' to at least 130' deep. My maximum depth was 125'. I don't think I've ever seen a spot with so many rare, older yelloweye rockfish.
After spending as long as I could on the wall. I swam back up along the gravel slope towards the point. There were lots of moon snails laying eggs.
