There had been gale-force winds and heavy rain all week so I went up to Madrona Point, hoping for better visibility (Nov. 21, 2009). Unfortunately, it was even worse up here. It was about 10' or less above 60 feet and maybe 15' on the wall. I guess I can't complain since we saw an octopus, a wolfeel and the usual variety of Madrona Point rockfish. It seemed like there were less adult yelloweye rockfish than normal, but it might just have been because of the bad visibility.
