I did two dives at Madrona Point on March 28, 2010. It was the busiest I've ever seen it here. The parking area was full of divers from as far away as Washington State. Visibility was 40-50 feet and it was the brightest I've seen it at the base of the wall (80-90 feet deep). I saw a large octopus in a crack, but no wolfeels this time. For the second dive, I put on a close-up lens even though it's against my principles. As I entered the water, a group of Steller's sealions swam by on the surface, stretching up their necks to see my macro lens. On the wall I saw a small octopus crawling around. Back in the shallows at the end of the dive, two sealions swam slowly by right in front of me. I tried to ignore them and take some photos of the tubesnouts in their mating colours, but they were camera-shy and hid in the sargassum seaweed.
