Despite it being a windy, choppy day (Dec. 7, 2008), there was less surge and better visibility than last time. The current was pretty strong so I didn't go all the way to the point. I stayed on the side near the boat ramp. There weren't as many fish or invertebrates here as nearer the point, but there were still lots of fish-eating anemones (some with clown shrimp), urchins and kelp. I found the old sewer outfall again. It was held down with big sacks full of concrete. An electrical cable and lots of big chain led away from it out into the strait. On the chart, a cable goes from here all the way to Trial Island. I was surprised how small the cable was. It just seemed like a household wiring cable looping out across the sand.
