I haven't been to Albert Head for several years. For various reasons, diving here from shore has been discouraged (even for military members). I finally dove here again on Nov. 4, 2012 (from a boat). Visibility was 20-30'. It seems pretty much the same as I remember it. I swam farther along the wall than I used to and it eventually became deeper (70') than the 50-foot-deep wall that I remember. We saw a few small octopus. One of them was out in the open and it inked when I started taking pictures. I also saw several sea nettle jellyfish. The only other time I saw them was in Fall, 2009. They're common off California, but they occasionally drift into the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
