I came back to North Cod Reef on July 14, 2024. Visibility in the top 30' was only 10' or so with lots of pale, floating plankton bits. Down deeper, it cleared up a bit to about 20' of visibility. My maximum depth was 87'. We started our descent pretty close to the kelp patch above the wall, but we kept dropping down without seeing the bottom. I followed my compass back through open water towards the wall and soon found it.
