This is a small, pyramid-shaped island. It's one of the more commonly-dived sites on the East Coast of the UAE. Unfortunately today, visibility was only 6-10'. The water temperature was also relatively chilly (low 20s) for the area. We followed a series of rocky reefs down to about 50' deep. There were the typical UAE purple and green whip corals, clownfish in anemones and moray eels.
After the dive I went snorkeling on the shallow South end of the island. This area is famous for black tip reef sharks. I saw 3 of them, but the visibility was so bad (still less than 10'), I only caught a glimpse of them before they dashed off in panic.
