We went to Cozumel in late Nov. to early Dec. 2023. I got in a few dives while we were there. The dive charter I went with was Aldora Divers, which is the most expensive charter company on the island, but their boats picked up divers from the hotel I was staying at so that was convenient. The weather was mostly good, but hot (30 degrees) with the wind closing the port and canceling dives on only 2 days. Water temperatures were 82 degrees F (27.8 Celsius) according to my computer. The hotel we stayed at was the Villa Aldora, just North of town. It was far enough away from town to be quiet, but close enough to walk or bike to. The Aldora Divers boats picked up from the hotel dock at 7:30 every morning. The hotel also provides free steel tanks and weights for guests who want to do shore dives. The main reason we stayed here was for the excellent and convenient snorkeling right in front of the hotel.
